USA Football's statement on the Sports & Fitness Industry Association's Topline Participation Report released:

We're encouraged by the CORE ages 6 to 17 youth participation numbers in both tackle and flag football released today in the Sports & Fitness Industry Association’s (SFIA) Topline Participation Report. Youth tackle football has remained stable over a one-and-three-year average, with a marginal increase in 2016 by 0.1 percent. Flag football data signals another year of positive growth up 9.8 percent from 2015.

The latest participation numbers further highlight the important work across the youth and high school football community. The youth game is taught and played differently today than it was a few short years ago, with an increased emphasis on physical literacy and coaching education though medically endorsed programs, such as Heads Up Football. Implementing important standards rooted in education is having a positive influence on the sport’s maturation. By working together, we are taking vital steps in advancing and growing the sport.

Players will enter the gym and go to their designated posted PW, FR, JV OR V weigh in level. Players will line up, step on the scale, state their name, get a posted weight then they are free to leave.

We will need each league to bring their scales. Remember, EVERY TCYFL player needs to have a weight posted. Any player not making weight can re-weigh at the August 5th weigh in. Times to be posted. It is the responsibility of each league to make sure all overweight players have their helmets marked. Players that bring their helmets can get marked at the weigh in.

Players making the league level weights will get a 5 pound variance once the season starts if they are challenged in September. Any player not getting a confirmed weight and those not making the original league weights will not be allowed the variance if they wish to re-weigh on the challenged weight date.

O’Roke Photography will be on site doing our TCYFL 2018 coach badges for $5.00.

All coaches are encouraged to get their badges early. You will not be allowed free access into any field nor the sidelines without your coach badge.

Flag Football Registration

Flag football registration will take place the entire month of July. Please register your player at the Arndt-McBee Insurance Agency 824 North Queen St Martinsburg Monday –Thursday 9-5 and Friday 9-1.

Registration is Closed Unless...

EPYFL registration for all new and returning players without uniforms is closed.  If you purchased a uniform you have to register by July 20 in order to participate.  Players will not be allowed to practice until registered in the league.  You can register at practice with your coach.

Practice starts Monday, July 16.  We will post complete team rosters this week.

What to expect at Poor House Park on Game Day

Visiting teams will warm up on the grass by the pond. At game time they will come thru the main gate and enter the field thru the gate by the storage sheds.

Home teams will warm up in the grass outside the gates on the scoreboard end, They will enter the field thru the gate at that end.

Please do not park in the handicapped spaces without proper tags.

All fans will enter thru the main gate. Admission is $3 per adult and $2 per child. Exact change is greatly appreciated. You will need a hand stamp to leave and re-enter.

Water and Gatorade will be sold out of the ticket booth for quick sales to get you back to the game.

Please follow all the rules posted.

No dogs are allowed in the facility.

Smoking is permitted outside the facility 50 feet away from either side of the main gate.

No standing in front of the bleachers/fence behind the player benches. This whole area is reserved for our cheerleaders.

We appreciate all positive remarks and cheering. Our facility provides a safe haven for children to experience the game of football.
